WARNING before reading this remember: DO NOT DO A SOFTBOOT ON YOUR MAC, IF YOU DO NOT HAVE OR REMEMBER THE PASSWORD TO YOUR MACHINE.
O.K. Here we go:
Wanna speed up the process to your Mac?
do a: "softboot"
1. restart your Mac holding down the shift key until it restarts itself twice.
2. Once your Mac starts up in softboot mode login with your password,
3. Shut down your machine and start up again.
Your Mac will run faster for about a week.
DO NOT DO A SOFTBOOT IF YOU DO NOT HAVE OR REMEMBER THE PASSWORD TO YOUR MACHINE. if you don't have it your machine will not start because you can 't login and you'll need to do a booty call from your OS X CD from scratch.
Anyone figure out how to update a blackberry on a mac? |
