Hello all. I'm looking for advice on equipment for a home studio. Right now I use an MXL 990 through a tascom US 122 into the PC with Audigy. I don't use any sound altering/filtering on the PC.

The sound quality doesn't cut it.

I've had a couple of jobs from voice123, including a tour as an emcee and a cartoon voice which has turned into a return job for a new version of the cartoon. There has also been a good lead on audio books that may turn into work.

Any advice is helpful.
