Bret:
At your invite, I lent an ear to your demo. While I'm uncomfortable commenting on the vocals from other distant colonies, I felt - and bought -the enthusiasm you bring to the text.
But the darn thing's too long by twice, mate.
Especially in light of the fact that most of the clips are clones of each other, why drub it in so?
It almost sounds as if your demo is so stretched out of as much pride in the f/x as of the voice. All those jingles, for example, seem superfluous and unnnecessary on YOUr voice demo. And speaking of f/x, the background in the opening snippet (Is it rain? rustling tin foil?) is static-y and off-putting.
I would also use the deep, 'radio-guy' voice a little more to provide range and variety.
But maybe that's just me.
Meanwhile, glad to have you aboard, mate.
Voice On!
