I have decided to investing in ISDN and a phone patch system for my Professional Recording Studio. I have read all your posts with the other topic on which equipment to get and I am still confused.

My question is(and I am in no way a techie) who could I ask to install the ISDN and Phone Patch system into my recording studio consosle. Could you recommend anyone for me as the phone company only puts the line in and thats it. I dont know where to look in the yellow pages. Do I look under Telephoneor Cable companies-electricians. Maybe you know someone here in Salt Lake City? Or I could fly someone out here...

Your local phone company is who you would contact for ISDN service. However thei initial person you speak with may think you are seeking Internet ISDN. Once the line is in, you can do the install yourself. It is just a matter of plugging the phone line into your audio chain.
The best way to find out who to call is contact the engineer at your local radio station, or the tech person at your local production house.
In addition you would need to invest in a codec unit, like a Telos Zephyr (some of which may be pricey - but necessary if you ever want to do sessions with major production houses).
For a phone patch you can use your existing phone line, but you would need some sort of digital hybrid or phone coupler. You can do a search in this forum. There a is thread on the subject.
