A little feedback is always needed. Also, I would like some information on Web site design & cost.
Thanks,
Al Connors

Less is said to be more (too many demos on one page for me) where does one begin to choose from. If it works for you then don't worry about it. Your talent is seasoned. You're as they would say: what most talents would like to aspire to be when it comes to having the diverse experience..
Webdesign? Well there are two places that I know of personally. One is: www.littlechair.com and the other is: http://www.bonfiliodesign.com and some folks here advertised the service.

Oh great! Just what I needed! Another my-type voice who does it better than I.....
Took a listen and liked.
To my ears, however, the first clip on your commercial demo is the weakest. In your shoes (or booth), I'd ditch it and just let the rest run.
As to all the demos, I think it's a better way to go: many shorties rather than fewer longies.
Methinks, however, that your Rock concert demo should die a happy death, since the voicing seems incongruous with the pace and text.
I loved the phone demo.
You'se good. I'm selling my stuff and retiring to broccoli-farming.
As to web-site, I would track down Scott Pollak on these pages and at Voice123. He's currently number 116 on my list of heroes and apparently does websites when he's not busy stealing all my voice work.

Robert,
I've thought about Broccoli-Farming myself! Thank you for the input & I'll check out the Scott Pollak lead.
I do a lot of concert spots & the Areosmith was used for contrast against the country spot. I'll switch the rock one around. You just never know what will catch a producers ear.
Thanks & keep the tape rolling,
Al |

... and WAY the hell better than me! Sheesh. Just when I thought I was getting a handle on this stuff and hoping to quit being a web designer.
But since I obviously can never make it up against the REAL guns in this business, Al, check out the site of the business my wife and I run from our cardboard boxes under the freeway at: www.spasticlizard.com
My own site that I created about 4 years ago that DESPERATELY needs updating is www.voicebyscott.com (but our own work always comes last). Two relevant voice/audio related sites I've done are:
www.reevesvoice.com
and
www.creativesoundconcepts.com
Feel free to e-me directly at: scott@voicebyscott.com to discuss prices, etc. Actually, I'll do yours for free if you'll just quit the v/o business and send me all of your clients!
Up to #116 now, eh, Robert? Just a few days ago I was at #163. Wish I could get my backgammon ranking to rise like that!
Peace.

Scott,
Now, I'm blushing, you & Robert have nothing to worry about! Work is in the ear of the beholder!!
I will shoot you an email about cost, etc.
Thanks,
Al |
