Thanks Kathleen! This was a great experience for me. I'm still waiting on the results though, so I won't count my eggs quite yet. |

If you're the voice of one bank, Anastasia, you cannot voice for another. Conflicting ads are a definite no-no.
Therefore, if one wants your exclusivity, that adds a whole lot to the price for the duration of the contract.
Cannot, however, suggest a fee without some idea of the ad campaign/requirements/etc.
Do not be shy to get all that spelled out. How many ads?..public appearances?...telephony?. Find out what they want and for how long and tell them you'll get back with a quote within 24 hours.
And well done. Congrats! |

Unless as Robert states the client specifically requests an exclusive and pays accordingly a voice over is free to work for anyone.
My last exclusive was to voice TV commercials for a furniture retailer in the UK. The deal was 44 TV ad's in a year and my fees for all of them were paid in advance. I know many voice overs who believe that being the voice for ABC car dealers on a radio commercial for a fee of no more than $200 for the run of the commercials, sometimes 3 months obliged them to refuse all other car dealer ad's.
Short term an exclusive deal would warrant a four figure fee, longer term we are into five or six figures. _________________ British voice over www.philipbanks.co.uk
