I'm gonna have to keep my secrets there. I hope you understand. I will say that it is a combination of things and changes depending on what piece I'm processing. It's not just one magical plugin. _________________ www.ColinCampbellVoice.com

I understand completely. My coworkers have been badgering me since Christmas for my Rustic Bread Stuffing recipe...
Oh well, can anyone blame me for trying?... Ok, don't answer that. It was worth a shot. At least we all know who to go to when we want "the big sound"... _________________ Alan Simmons

I think the key really is experience and understanding the geek side of audio. There's a lot of techno-speak there that gets lost on many. But if you have that knowledge, you can do some amazing things. Plus, it really boils down to knowing what sounds good in particular situations. I thnk for many it's a "I'll know it when I hear it" instead of knowing what to do to get it there. _________________ www.ColinCampbellVoice.com

If you mean the "royalty free music" that was from that other site. They offered them free. No, unfortunately I do not write musc. When I was in grade school I had to switch schools and music class got screwed up and I lost interest. Too bad, I probably would have liked to learn more. _________________ www.ColinCampbellVoice.com

Colin,
I'm putting together some clips for a couple of demos; CHARACTER VOICES, CORPORATE READ , and PHONE /IVR. As soon as I have my stuff together and a couple of bucks I'll PM you. Thanks for the offer! |

Hey, All,
Just thought you'd like to hear the great job Colin Cambell did on my demos---his slates are great, too! I admit, even after all these years doing v/o's I'm still a bit green when it comes to technical stuff, so this was a big help.
And Colin, thanks for giving me lots of leeway---I submitted upwards of 25, cuts and you seamlessly worked your magic. And the turnaround was incredibly fast! The last time I had one mixed, I waited days. Besides, you saved me a Ton Of Money!
Thanks for the nice work, Colin!! |
