I'm new at this - I've answered about 30 leads in the last two weeks, but haven't yet gotten any responses. I'm wondering if I'm doing something wrong.

I think a lot of people will chuckle when reading your post, Jean, I know I did. I've been a premium member for about three months, submitted 240 custom auditions, whoops 241 as of a couple minutes ago, and have had no replies or jobs. Hmm, two weeks and thirty auditions, you've only just begun Smile

I like your voice and presentation although I might have some suggestions for your demo if you're interested.

Keep at it. I know I will. Let us know of your successes.

Gary

Keep at it Jean - It took about 5 weeks of consistent auditions to land my first gig, but that one more than paid for Voice123. Since then, I've gotten better at choosing which ones to go for.

I try to get in a couple auditions per day.

Best of luck - take care,

Hi Jean, Here is another newbie. I have answered 112 in the past month and nothing, but I feel I am improving with each one I answer. I find myself listening and repeating the commercial voices I hear on the radio and thinking "I can do that". My wife should be getting tired of me talking to myself, but it works.

Watch Craig's list too, it may occasionally have a lead.

Blessing,

Lou Young

Oh, thank you. I really am a newbie, aren't I? I would certainly appreciate any suggestions you could make; it's good to know that I am in such good company. Jean Hopkins

Thanks Lou - that scenario sounds pretty familiar. I think I'll do some more talking to myself......Jean Hopkins
