It wouold be nice to have a little radio button that could send the talent a message like:

"Don't quit that waiter job anytime soon."

or

"After hearing all these demos, I quit my job at the agency and have moved to a cave in the south of France."

or

"I would have given you the job, but you just can't lay off the compression."

I also receive this "Thank You but No Thank You" notices intermittently. I figured it was on the client to initiate these. This gives you an idea of which clients complete the whole process and which just let it fade away.

Ok to the point about your post. NO the thanks but no thanks does NOT mean your demo and/or sample was heard. Once we / they find the talent desired (or do not want) they simply click a simple radio button next to the names on the audition cue and/or the entire list all at once, hit "send thank you note and delete" and fastre than you can turn on your mic, that is it.
You're dumped without being kissed. Very Happy

So NO that email does not mean the sample was heard. I once suggested to voice 123 that the clients casting page have a custom "thank you reply option" for those clients who care and want to explain at the very least why they passed. I just felt as a casting guy / and talent the generic one is too cold and does NOT offer any reasons, or simple way to offer feedback to talent. (e.g. you suck, you need work, close, maybe next time, sorry try again, or hey good work but not right for this job, etc) guess that is why they have the email this talent option. but even than it is filtered by v123 and can take a day to get a reply from the talent. so it is a waste of time usually to use as a reply.

Hello Anthony,

Great to see you around the forums. That is a great idea and for a fact was reviewed at the time (I recall). I believe you´ll be able to see related changes in future developments, in the meantime (well, the version 2.0) comes with an improved messaging system, very soon more information will be published.

Hi Amy.

I've gotten 5 of these notes. But then, I'm a total NEWBIE (virgin, whatever) to V123...only been a premium member for a week. I haven't tossed enough demo reels around to "brag" about. I know and completely understand it's gonna take a while -- and a truckload of demos -- to get this damn thing going...but it hurts when the ONLY responses I get are the ones that say "thanks...but no thanks."

I've auditioned for several hundred gigs and have never received a "Thanks, but no thanks" note. Not during my first year with V123 or since renewing for a second go 'round late last year. IS there a way (or setting) to make sure we get them?

Yeah-- Freddie, is this a preference that we set when we were new and didn't know what we were doing?

Well, you can ask Voice123´s customer service to stop them, in case you are not interested in getting them, but normally depends on the client, some of them will send them, some just won´t take the time.

I'm confused. I've never gotten any such thank you's or "thanks but no thanks." I feel I am in some altered state of conciousness reading about these responses.
