Where is the best place to get demo scripts? The leading competitor has 50 scripts for $30 and some other online places have them for $20 or so. Is there somewhere to get good scripts for free?

Thanks!

Matthew,

You'll be able to find some free ones you can use on your demos the Resource Center, go to Voice123, click on Resource center and do a search with the word script, that should help.

Magazine ad copy, and movie scripts are a great, nearly free resource.

Plus, there's plenty of copy right on V123 - just lift it from the auditions...

In any case, you shouldn't have to pay someone for them.

Hope this helps,

You could also just write them yourself.

I've usually had success just Googling "PSA script" or "radio script". PSA scripts are public information and can be used from all sorts of sources. Plus, their creators WANT you to use them...

I just set up the laptop by the radio and recorded a bunch of ads. Just take bits and pieces to get ideas of a certain type of commerical you want to demo. You can just generalize names, etc to keep them somewhat generic.

Cheers,
Cameron
