I have two Samson C03 and one CO3U. They sound very good.
I also own a Sennheiser 416, RE-20, and several Rode mics.

I only mention this so that you know I have tried other mid to high quality mics.

The Samsons have a very smooth quality to them.
Not nearly as harsh as other Chinese mics I've owned or tried.

I recommend them, especially for the price.
