to post this question. I've got a Shure SM7B with an Imic connected to an IMac. It sounds OK, but I'm not getting the boost that I feel I should get from the SM7B. Anyone have any suggestions for a reasonably priced pre amp???? Thanks, Mark T.

Best bang for the buck IMO (if you're looking for just a preamp with an analog output):

You can spend hundreds more if you want that added sonic nuance.
