I am brand new to this process and could use a bit of advice

Hello Everyone!
I am brand new to this process and could use a bit of advice as well as a dose of wisdom concerning Union affiliations. Presently, I do radio and commercial work for non profit orgs in the Midwest. This looks like a great way to supliment my income but I would like to do it the right way.

Hi Kevin-

The advice I have been given up till now is to stay non-union as long as possible to build up your credits, get experience, etc.
Perhaps others have more insight.
