Well I think some of you might have seen me lurking around for 2 or 3 weeks. Leaving invalid, pointless and somewhat insane responses to your posts. I still feel like I need to apologize for a couple of less than tasteful ones. Geesh I am embarrassed about those. Oh well, you live and you learn.
Tonight, I finally pony-ed up and put down the 195 saw bucks to become a Premium Subscriber. I just hope I don't make those guys and gals at Voice123 regret letting me in. For the time being, I am here and darn glad I made the jump. I filled in all of the missing parts of the resume section, setup my Pay Pal Button (like it is going to get any use) and uploaded my sample demo.
For the next few weeks I plan on doing more reading and studying. Now that I can get my hands on some of those real scripts you guys have been talking about and making demos of, I plan on recording a few of them myself and maybe even uploading them so you guys can rip them apart.
Then after recovering from the deep depression I am sure I will be in from questioning why I ever did this. I will pick myself up and start answering some of the auditions.
One more thing, many thanks to Colin Campbell for the slate and great production work he did on my sample demo. Don't hold the voice over part against him, that was all me. |

Hey Keith,
I kept wondering when you'd get cojones and come up and play with the big boys.  Glad to see the little lady let you take off the apron finally.
On the demo, I'd lose the Shirley Temple impersonation and reconsider the spot about contacting minors on the 'net without getting caught, other than that tho'...
Oh wait. Sorry. Wrong demo.
Oh YOURS! Yeah, not bad. 'Cept for that cheesy voice on the slate.
But hey, the old guy needs the work.
