Greg - 10-4 on Onyx and Firewire. I love my little board but had so much trouble with firewire that I gave up and went to a Lynx card. At least I still have the interface in the board if they ever get the drivers right! Confused

What system are you trying to run it on? I might be able to help you.

FWIW: did you know that the FW card can do 192kHz?

Neither did Mackie at first... Rolling Eyes (you're still best off by running the main output into an AD/DA or other system instead of FW IMHO).

Same with the EQ since it's done AFTER the output stage.

Don't get me wrong, I prefer them to the A&H (sorry Don, but those mixers have never performed for me), but they based a lot of the design on cost and so a lot of the functionality is lost unless you know how to re-write these things.

I'm getting an Aurora or HEDD in about 5 weeks, hooking the mixer in and using a dedicated AD/DA for the majority of the recording in my rehearsal room.
