If you're getting rocky reviews on your current demo. You should really get one done by me. I PRODUCE! My services are low cost to you and it gets you a professional demo. Hugely positive trade off! Why get a kick butt demo made by me? It will get you WAY more attention with those generic submissions PLUS if you're on the hunt to get your first agent outside of voice123 my editing style will grab that persons ear and they'll go on a ride they won't forget. Your satisfaction is my garuntee and I'm not finished until YOU are happy. Why pay $500 upwards to $1500 for a demo when you can get one that sounds BETTER (because I'm really that good at what I do) for $150! Just listen to my animation demo (http://simonhill.voice123.com), that's my editing style, and you can have it too with your own twist. Contact me if you've got any questions or you'd like to get started.
Commercial and Animation demos!
All the best on your new career!

Whoa Nelly!
Ok, I gotta draw the line here.
Granted, we haven't decided yet if this kind of post is Kosher, but this is NOT the correct forum for selling anything.
Can I get an AMEN?!??!?
Preachin' to the empty pews,
Joe |

Gotta go with Joe J here, Simon.
Just imagine if we all run helter-skelter and post our sales pitches everywhere.
The place'll be spam-zoo, man.
Be a sport and run the solicitation over to Buying and Selling.
I'll keep carrying your banner.

Not cool.
I always taught my son that whenever he's trying to decide whether to do one thing or anything he should ask himself:
What would happen if everyone did what I'm thinking of doing? Would the world be a better place?
If the answer is "No, it would be a disaster if everyone did it," then you shouldn't do it either. |

Amy I don't appreciate your comment. I am hoping for a pro-active solution to this. I was a skeptic myself as to whether or not it would be acceptable but how was I to know when nobody else was trying? I'm not a greedy person and I have a huge passion for doing what I do. My price is worth my time because I'll spend anywhere from 12 to 14 hours on a 1 minute demo! And I absolutely think that if other people were doing this it would "make the world a better place". So many awfully conducted generic demos are being submitted and putting clients to sleep before they get to the good ones! The only forseeable conflict with this type of solicitation is the fact that voice123 does not gauruntee the seller will be paid or the buyer gets what they paid for just the same as us dealing with our leads. In a dedicated forum it could be an amazing outlet for another source of little or large income for edit savvy people and a great way for newbies to work with the experienced.
So let's put a smile on our faces everyone! I made a mistake, we all should sometime, it makes the world a better place as we learn from them |

Let's not make a Simon hill out of a mole hill here. All is cool.
You're good folk, Simon, and you posted enough free tips and help here that you were owed a gimme or two. The double-barrel shot was one.
Let's all move on.

Now is your chance to own a pair of pantsworn by me, J.S. Gilbert. Up for sale to the highest bidder are 2 pairs of Jeans which have vvery few holes in them and were personally worn by me to record countless v.o. jobs. You can buy one or both pairs, but hury there are only 2 pairs.
Size is 36 waist 34 length and yes I've gotten too fat for them to fit. Serious buyers only. I cna take pictures if necessary.
Also for sale is a bunch of old broccoli that I still have. It was in the back of the fridge and I forgot about it. Yes it is actually the same type of brocolli that professional voice actors eat, only this broccoli is a bit old and kind of yellow. Just the one bunch available, so act before Midnight tonight!!!!!!!!! |

How ya' spell-checking posts George. Don't see an easy way. Seems like you'd have to type it Word first and that'd be a pain. _________________ www.ColinCampbellVoice.com

| The example of selling pants is a bad one. Simon wasn't selling hardware, but he was selling voice production. |
