Hey techie people out there
I use garageband to make demos and iTunes to export them. A couple of times potential clients have asked me to send them mp3s at 224kbps and I can't seem to set it either way at higher than 192. Any suggestions anyone? I'm working on a mac.
Thanks so much

In ITunes, go to preferences- advanced- importing-settings.
Where it says the bitrate, scroll down to Custom, then double click on it.
A screen will come up that lets you set rate at whatever your heart desires.

One sec! let me see...
Oh, interesting. Well if you create your demo in Garage Band then export it into i-tunes once your file is itunes
1. go to the preferences in I-tunes
2. Click on advanced
3. in the setting's menu click on "settings" a drop menu will appear click on custom zen whalla. You can select the format your client request.
Ever wonder how the I-pod was born?

| Some clients ask for audio to be delivered as WAV files. If there's a way to generate WAV files instead of AIFF's in Garageband I haven't located it. Anyone have experience with this? |

Hello Michael,
You can also use iTunes for that purpose, go to Preferences/ Advanced / Importing and instead of mp3, select the desired format. iTunes is quite useful.

Hello! I am curious as to your response from your garage band files. I don't have a home studio, but DO have garage band and I don't want to drop $200 without a little feedback!
Thanks in advance!!
