Back in the day... we had a thread called "IMMITATE THIS."

I'm raising the stakes. Find your favorite movie monologue and try to immitate it, or even better.... give it new meaning.

Here's the one I'd like to do but I am embarassed to even try.

The YouTube link and the copy (in case there are brave soules that want to give it a shot.) It starts about half way though....

That is the film's payoff and a great perfomance from Tracy. Him in a courtroom reminds me of this line of his: "And the only reason you 10 idiots will very LIKELY get off LIGHTLY, is because the judge will have me up there to throw the book at!" Know the movie? It's my favorite comedy of all time.

Here's one I love, but which is very difficult to do without slipping into a charicature of Francis McDormand's extremely real depiction of strong, steadfast and sincere Marge Gundersen. My sorry inner voice rendition. With the fridge in the background. Oh, don't ya know!
