Colin, I never doubted your love for domestic cats. I respect your doubts for the video. You were able to see the ficticious parts. I just love the idea. It's ok to dream once in a while. And yes....I'm dreaming.

Absolutely! I'm going on vacation next week and can use a good round of oldies to burn for the car ride!

I believe this story is possible.
Lions are just like stray cats, just BIGGER.
And I can tell you that from experience, most stray cats are wannabe pets.
With a bit of food and love, they'll love you back and will remember you even if you have been away for years. And they often ask for a cuddle and a purr BEFORE asking for food.
The behaviour of the animal really depends on the relationship with the human.

However, they can bite accidentally when they are playing or when they mistake your fingers for food. I nearly lost a finger once...
I wouldn't want to be accidentally bitten by a lion. Ouch!

By the way, I've seen videos before of lions giving a cuddle to someone... It's not the first video of the kind.

Here's my lion:

Here's ours!
We had 2 cats and a dog (boxer) at one point but unfortunately, he's the only one left. 16 years old and going strong. Still runs around like crazy.

I am not surprised that many creative folks are cat people. Here are my kids that wake me every morning at 6am. The black cat Chleo passed away a few months ago. The orange tabby is Baxter and helped us move on after Chleo's death. Nickie, the beautiful grey cat, is the queen of the house and is living with Feline Infectious Peritonitis.

Thought I would share.

Scott,

I wasn't aware your family lived near Three Mile Island for a period of time.

HAH!!! Very Happy

Unfortunately, the little laptop crasher-cutie isn't ours... (the surroundreceiver-crashing kitty posted earlier was ours, though).

We've had 7 different cats since wife & I meet 12 years ago, but only have one left, a 9 year old part housecat, part ragdoll named Hannibal. An 18 lbs black-as-the-night luvabul lion. Just caught him 30 min. ago crashing the couch (not the laptop, luckily...)
