Hi Freddie. I never got a chance to thank you again for helping me set up my home voiceover studio. It still is in dire need of somd upgrades but will do for now until I have more regular income coming in. The information you provided to me via chat on the website has been invaluable and I really wanted to thank you for your time. I will have two more questions - namely how to set up ISDN and a phone patch with less expense at home or is it better to use a local studio? But, I'll post on an appropriate topic board.

Hello Stacey,
You are very welcome, it’s always a pleasure to be of help.
Regarding the ISDN and Phone Patch, for ISDN, what I recommend will be to check with your local telephone companies and find out which one is offering the service and the cost of it, with the Phone patch it is just a matter of finding the piece of equipment that is appropriate for your needs, prices vary quite a bit, shop around.
It is not necessary to start your home studio with all these options; you can look in to them when you see the necessity. |
