Most definately, Diane!
Anyone know any good microbrews in Denver? I'm heading there for the 4th of July and don't want to rely on Coors, although I don't mind it and will have to try it locally.

James-
New Belgium Brews are a big hit in Colorado. They may be in Fort Collins though.
And Boulder has Avery Brews which are also nice.
Breckinridge does a few - again not in the Denver metro.
And yes good rasta!

Hi Colin....this is good that your using a character voice and the voice is different... the only thing is you need to stop and start again and edit more because I can here the "transition" phase from one voice to another. One thing you can do is....
if it takes you a sentence to find the "new" voice make one up to say before the scripted line then just edit that out...That way your in character from the characters very first word....This gets easier and more effortless the more you do it.
Also how is the personality of the announcer different from the hick guy. For instance there is actually a Huge difference in the speech patterns and personality of Larry the Cable Guy VS Jeff Foxworthy ....there is more to a character than an accent.
Don't be discouraged though....I can hardly believe this from the same "announcer" dude I met a couple of years ago. You are getting better and better my friend.

Deby... what GREAT advice!!!!
I am always hesitant to try this kind of thing.
One thing I thought of on my own before I read your message is that I should have read each part separately so that I could "stay in character," but I didn't do that. I kept ripping through it. I realized though that I couldn't remember how I read the announcer "the last time."
Always the producer, I try to figure out a more efficient way to accomplish the goal.
Maybe I'll try this production again using different methods.
THANK YOU... Deby.

LOL Deby...I hope you're alright and keep on postin'!
Loved the Sebastian read. Can't wait to see the finished product.
and thanks Dave and Jacob! It's been 20 years since I've been to Jamaica but I still remember the Flaming Bob Marley very well. Multiple colored layers of alcohol, lit on fire and down the hatch. What a kick, not sure what was in it though.
And I'll be on the lookout for those brews Jacob.

Much better Colin.... I would still change the tongue placement and pitch a little more to distinguish the hick and announcer guy on a technical level. (you got the acting down pretty good on this one)...make the announcers pitch a little deeper and perhaps more forward in the mouth. Or make the hick's tongue placement more in the back of the throat. Whatever works for you. Also making the announcer speak fast and the hick speak slow will add a difference to.... Very good though and your very welcome.... BLOWING big kisssses to you
MMMWAH
I would ask you to teach me that voice of God thing that you do.....but I think me trying to learn that one is a hopeless cause.
