I've also noticed that the "1 A Tundred" guy is tagging spots with Billy. All we need now is the cast from "Head On" to join in. And that'll be the cue for the horsemen of the apocolypse.

Don't forget Matthew Lesko and the exercise guy, Tony Little. kotz

Hey Dave -- Melba did a great job, but what about your own kids? Did they get a DaveCast "Reminder" and tell you they wouldn't work for so few Legos? pfeifend

Dave,
Thanks for posting that dented car spot it's too easy to re-use the same tired ideas for spots. I thought the Indy thing was just right. And, Melba you are wonderful (and sound just like millhouse on the simpsons).

Keep it up all!

Ditto for what Jacob said. I really enjoyed that.

Here's my Mossy Nissan. I tried to hit in in :25, managed a :26.

First, here's an interesting "political" script about trying to inform voters.

Nice job on the 3 Stooges thing. I tried that one out this morning and I'm just now realizing that I TOTALLY missed the Whoop Whoop Whoop thing. I was thinking of an alarm... but they were wanting a Curly/3 Stooges thing! knüppeln Thant's what I get for rushing!

Lance and Michael.... nicely done on the Vote/Stooges thing. I liked both of 'em. Interestingly, this was one of only two auditions I submitted this week and this one was via private invitation. But I think they're looking for a younger voice (like Lance's) and they had a LOT of public auditions submitted. Hope one of you guys gets it. Actually, I hope I get it, but realistically, I hope one of YOU gets it!

I'd love to post more online auditions, but they've all been TOS this week.

Fine, here's a TOS audition.

Tag away, my bretheren. Tag away. I'll even bring the spray paint.

I sat on this one for several days (almost a guarantee it will never be listened to) while trying to come up with something appropriate to submit. It was from Voices and was accompanied by no sample script and a rather vague job description:
"We are currently looking for people to do NPC voice overs for our new game "The Kingdom" planing on being released into beta 2009.

We need All fantasy type voices we can find, if you think you can make a, Strong Orc, Stubborn Dwarf, Sexy Elf, or a even a mid-evil human sound please please contact us with your name, way of payment/ price, and a sample file.

PS: The part of the tutorial voice is still up for grabs so please apply.
"

But it also had a pretty impressive budget figure so I thought I'd better do something.

Just wanted to let everybody know....
On the previous page I posted an audition for a technical school TV ad. Got me a 4, but that's not the best part. The seeker was kind enough to respond via e-mail to let me know that he liked my audition although the client decided not to use it. Not only that, he linked me to the spot with the winning audition so I could compare. Granted, there were only 12 total auditions but it's good to receive that amount of courtesy. Perhaps he responded only to let me know he's keeping my info on file. Either way it's an affirmation and a welcomed and much appreciated message. Next best thing to a gig! Wink

Lee, your Billy Mays audition was right on. If someone had told me that was the guy on the informercials himself, I wouldn't have thought othewise. Since you also skewered him properly, you should not feel badly at all about doing that kind of spot.
