Here.

That is all.

You'll take that opener and you'll like it.

My morning voice is NOTICEABLY deeper and fuller than later on in the day. I responded to this lead this morning over on voices-dot-com and thought I'd post it just so you could enjoy my 'coffee voice'. BTW this was to narrate a WWII video game.

Scott:

Today's trivia question:

So, are you telling us that is your 'cup-and-a-half of flavor' voice?

Let's see if you or anybody else can connect the reference.

I'm guessing Maxwell House? Or Folgers? And I don't touch either. I grind my own French Roast beans that I get from BJs wholesale club which I'm absolutely CERTAIN is repackaged Starbucks.

Scott:

You're on the right track but you don't have the whole answer. I'll admit it's kind of obscure, and Lee Gordon and I may be the only ones of the right vintage around here to get this one. I'll wait a little longer for some others to guess before revealing.

I have the faintest of recollections of a "cup and a half" coffee promotion but I can't place it.
Maxwell House was "good to the last drop" and Chock Full 'O Nuts is "that heavenly coffee" and Yuban was "deep, dark, delicious" and Folgers is the stuff that Mrs. Olsen drinks.
Maybe Chase & Sanborn or Eight O'Clock, but those are only wild guesses (and the only other brands I can think of, off the top of my head).

...I love the smell of coffee and scripts in the morning....
Early AM here.
Coffee has been consumed (Espresso grind Ethiopian Limu double roast on a stovetop percolator-the world is starting to look ok!)
Scripts have been attempted....I gave the WWII demo a go as well.

...now, about that second cup....

There was a jingle that went "You get a cup and a half of flavor, a cup and a half of flavor, a cup and a half of flavor in every cup of Instant Maxwell House."

All I know is that "Chock-full-O-nuts is the Heavenly coffee. Hevenlier coffee, money can't buy."

Has anyone here sampled Lavazza espresso? For a Vac-Pac I thinks it's pretty good coffee!

Okay, since it's L and R, here's one from last week. Earned me a five but no gig. Poor Poor little Jakey...

By the way, nice deep, dark and rich coffee voices, guys -- and your caramel latte wasn't bad, either, Colin. But the song goes "Chock full o'nuts is the heavenly coffee, Better coffee a milllionaire's money can't buy."

Very cool, Jacob -- good one for your voice. Lavazza has great coffee -- and I'm definitely an espresso girl.

Radio imaging liner fun. I don't normally answer foreign radio imaging but this lead seemed pretty legit. If you care, get to the last one, it's the best one....
