JC - nice read! You know, the scratch track was male, so I'm wondering if they wanted a male voice. I've worked with these folks before - they're nice people!

Ok..... ALL OF YOU GUYS: This is why I am so happy I don't have a penis! It would be so difficult to compete with any of you. Sheesh!

Erik: I liked that read. Maybe it was a *touch* over-pronunciated? It was very much like the guy from "Real Stories of the Highway Patrol" which I thought was a good thing!

Michael: your read has a little more...hmmm....urgency in your voice and would have kept me watching

JC: nice read and production! I'm betting that gave you a great edge so well done on you!

Caryn: these are the Rock of Love peeps. right? I liked your read a lot! And considering the show and the audience, I thought they would want a younger voice as well.

Here's my Queen Sized read. Nothing too special about it really. It's about as old as I can sound Wink I got a 4 on it but with JC's 5, I'm guessing he landed it Smile

That was a great read Ember. Yup, less is more. Listening back, I should've just submitted the first take. Oh well... live and learn.

Smile

Yeah, I liked your read as well, September. Very casual, and natural.
After listening to the demo they supplied, I heard my voice & style in that guy...so I just did "me." But I think you're right: they're really looking Male. Sorry bout that "penis" thing! It was attached when I was born. Laughing

Hey Scott, you do realize it is illegal to say anything negative about Thom here, don't you?

I'm sorry, but you are now banned from the system until you complete a statue of him in bronze, or at least a flattering Photoshop job.

ahhhh! But therein lies the loophole! Notice I said only positive things about THOM. It was his produced AUDITION that I dissed! And just so you guys can do the same to me, here's one of the very, very, VERY few 'produced' auditions I ever submit, done just this morning. (the young guy's voice is squeaky because they specified 'young').

Someday, I'm gonna get what I deserve.

I'll call the bank and it will be one of my greeting systems, back to haunt me..

Regarding the Western - Now if you listen to it Scott - the first character read [their script] is serious - only the added "dialog" is comedic.. Why? ...to be different... ( however, for what's it's worth - the audition hasn't been opened... so I guess it doesn't matter - one way ot the other...)

Not bad Steve - Now I took the liberty of Sweetening your read with a little EQ/compression/SFX... and adding a bit of "Dialog" as well.... for the SAVVY folks

(Warning- Scott- you need not listen - since this production might bug ya as well!)
