Just a blurb that my Internet radio show "Power Salad's Cream Cheese Library" is on this evening at 9E/6P on Dementia Radio, located at www.dementiaradio.org More rarities and weird stuff from my collection, think of it as Dr Demento Lite. Very lite. Should be fun, though. Tune in this and every Tuesday using yer Winamp or other mp3 player, the stream links are right on the homepage. Thanks!

Goin' again this evening, have been in the process of transferring lots of my analog stuff to digital in order to expedite the playing of said tunes on the show...Latest addition to my collection is a US pressing of a 1963 Benny Hill 45 on the Rust label (subsidiary of Laurie - biggest hit on the label was Randy and the Rainbows "Denise"), some 16-17 years before anyone here would know who he was! Must have been a British Invasion "anything goes" type of release, I had no idea anything of his prior to the "Ernie" 45 in 1971 was released here!!!

Anyway, please tune in tonight starting at 9pm EDT/6pm PDT on Dementia Radio, www.dementiaradio.org:8027 for broadband, www.dementiaradio.org:8000 for dialup. Thanks!

WooHoo - Staying on Dr Demento's Top Ten for April, it's our own "Hold On, I've Got To Take This"! Many thanks to those of you who've requested it so far, please keep on requesting it at www.drdemento.com and keep it in the Top Ten!

And also a reminder that tonight is Cream Cheese Library night, LIVE at 9pm EDT on Dementia Radio, www.dementiaradio.org:8027 broadband and www.dementiaradio.org:8000 dialup. I've started delving into my massive box o'cassettes, so there's no telling what we'll be hearing over the next few weeks!!!! So tune in tonight, and get yer IRC client pointed to #dementia or join us at http://dementiaradio.org/chat/

Many thanks as usual!!!

We hit it again tonight at 9pm ET/6pm PT on Dementia Radio, located at www.dementiaradio.org - select either the Broadband or Dialup links on the main page to listen in with your MP3 player of choice. Or point your Winamp or WinMedia to www.dementiaradio.org:8027 for broadband or www.dementiaradio.org:8000 for dialup. Should be a fun time tonight so please tune in! Now that Boston Legal is on Wednesdays there's no excuse. Laughing

Thanks!

Tonight's special feature is gonna be The Most Wanted Song and The Most Unwanted Song, as determined by a survey of 500 respondents, the compositions were tailored from their responses as to musical likes and dislikes. Unbelievable! If you can't get enough of an operatic soprano rapping cowboy tunes, or children singing about various holidays and commercials for Walmart, this is your night to tune in!

Plus Madness in Italian, The Sonics with a rather deranged comedy skit, a Jewish James Bond, a Laughing Policeman, a Singing Spock, and tons more!!

So tune in starting at 9 EDT tonight on Dementia Radio, www.dementiaradio.org port 8027 broadband or port 8000 dialup. Thanks!

Yes, the "DJ"s on the stream are their own programmers, the basic caveat is that we stay mostly and relatively in and around the idea of "dementia", Dr Demento-type stuff, comedy & novelty music, weird & strange, etc...What I do approximates the Dr's show without trying to directly copy or emulate him, as he has no equal!! Very Happy I go off into other directions, in my case the foreign garage rock or songs recorded by me & my friends 25 years ago, whatever....some of the DJs are heavier into techno and dance, a lot of it has an underlying sci-fi or fangeek theme, but it's all a bit o'fun. Check out the schedule at www.dementiaradio.org for an idea of what we have on the schedule - and when there isn't a live show, there is randomcasting software playing tons of funny music, and you can even request songs from the website for the bot to play.

Making the Internet absolutely ridiculous (the slogan I came up with - I also wrote & recorded the jingles)

Well, it's Tuesday and that means I'll be casting live on www.DementiaRadio.org this evening starting at 9pm ET/6pm PT, with 2 hours of funny music, comedy and otherwise just plain weird stuff. Point your Winamp or other media player to dementiaradio.org:8027 for broadband or dementiaradio.org:8000 for dialup. It's live so you can also text chat with us at www.dementiaradio.org/irc.html

Also, my new song has been posted at The Funny Music Project, you can listen for free at www.thefump.com

Hope you'll tune in and have some fun - thanks!
