As I've mentioned before, I've been dying to do some character voice stuff. Finally landed one from TOS. It's a character that looks a bit like Timon from Lion King and it's for a game geared towards younger kids (4-6 year olds). It's gonna be fun!

I'm almost slack-jawed, Dave.
Not only do you keep earning our respect with fine and fuzzy-warm work, you do things with a unique and devil-may-care style.
I can think of nobody who would jumble an aud like you did. I can imagine voice coaches falling over each other to correct (at a bargain-basement $150/hour) your approach.
But you do what feels right and inject humour and personality.
It's almost the blazing of new trails.
(Of course, it doesn't hurt that you can deliver the goods.)
Hearty congrats on a fun aud for fun people for a fun gig.
Venture On!

Robert's right -- and I love new trails! Throw caution to the winds, man. That was just plain creative and entertaining, with loads of personality thrown in.
Happy trails,

...and I suspect Dave, you did all the production. That demo...
ROCKED!

Those coaches may be right... the same demo scored me a big fat "1" rating on another character voice audition... I guess one man's junk is another man's merekat.

Yep... been a production director for years and It's given me LOTS of practice. I love directing a little "Theater of the Mind".
Thanks again for all the kind words! It really means a lot coming from you guys!!

Crap.
I'm gonna quit, too.
At least I like Dave. I suppose that's SOME consolation.
