Putting aside the obvious errors in pronunciation it's important to remember that language is always open to interpretation. For example, Scott, the reference for "often" I found disputes your t is always silent approach. Here is a listing from the Meriam Webster online dictionary: often
One entry found for often.
Main Entry: of·ten
Pronunciation: 'o-f&n, ÷'of-t&n
Function: adverb
Etymology: Middle English, alteration of oft

Actually when you consider the etymology of the word, ofTen seems like the more correct pronunciation Smile

Either/Neither...

Is it I-ther or E-ther
