Whoa. I thought she was a dude too.

Sorry Bren. You have a lovely voice BTW.

Actually, Bren is not really that masculine of a name but perhaps the logo is and that made Scott and I automatically think male.

Ah, yes -- it says strength! You go, girl!!! I LOVE it -- the speech balloon V is simple genius.

(You could girlie it up with pink, though, if you want. Wink )

For what it's worth, I agree with Lee. I like the original and as far as it looking like one word, from my point of view the color change from first to last name takes care of that. Just my opinion!

You guys are awesome! Thank you so much for your input. I was thinking of changing the font and maybe the color.

It never crossed my mind that people might think I'm a guy (not that there's anything wrong with that)
But there was a guy named Bren on the Apprentice a few seasons ago but I think he spelled it Brynne.

Unfortunately I can't take credit for the design. I met a graphic designer at a party and just told him I was getting into VO and needed a logo. I didn't think he would actually do it.

Thanks again

I wouldn't change the font but I agree with Diane about maybe going with more feminine colors.

All in all, I am crazy jealous over this one.

And because it's utterly impossible for me to just leave well enough alone, or to stop meddling, here's one that plays off your last name, both in color and in height.

Still like the original better... but maybe the font could be a little more feminine? Dunno...

Well, there's a unique pick up line: "Hey babe, how'd you like me to design a logo for you?" Cool

Scott -- I like this variation a lot better than your previous one, especially since the sloped typography is a graphic representation of a hill, But I'm still not convinced there's any compelling reason for Bren to change what she has, particularly if she has already put it into service.

That's okay. My wife, the gifted graphic designer, likes Bren's original better than either of mine, also. So there ya go!

having listened to bren's demo and determined that she is, indeed, a woman (or a young man with a thyroid condition) i like the original logo better. i like scott's too - but it is definitely more masculine.

Here's my question. You graduated from Nancy Wolfson's brain track class and she didn't give you any advice about logos????

I thought that was her "brand" as a coach!

We talked about it and then she referred me to her graphic artist. While I was trying to save money to hire him someone else came up with this one. I thought it was really good so...

I may still go to her designer in the future but I think for now I'll stick with this logo.

Thanks again for everyone's input.

Hi, I had the designer change the font and color. Any thoughts?

Thanks for your help.

I actually just love your very first logo...at the top of the topic. Those colors were more appealing and the font and spacing very clean. I don't care as much for your latest renditions. But I am no graphic artist...just a gal with more opinion than sense, I guess. Laughing

I agree with Melba. I liked the first one better. All the newer ones have serif type inside the balloon. The original has sans serif, which I think works better with the sans serif type outside the balloon.
If you wanted to swap one of the green color combinations with the original blues, that would probably be OK but I don't think it's necessary.
