I'm gonna be a Train Engineer!

This was a private V123 lead (the only wat I can get them from here since I haven't popped for the $295), and I'm going to have my voice in the most famous line of model trains in the world!

(I'm pretty excited, btw. Razz)

Wow, Brad -- super! Love those trains (and those direct leads are the BEST!).
Congrats and enjoy,

Ah yes, the old Lionel Trains! I actually have my original O-gauge set here in a closet, rescued from my mom's house when I was helping her to move. It's probably about 50 years old now!

Way to go Brad. That's great that you were able to snag that via a private lead. How exactly will your voice be used?

I am recording about 100 phrases that the engineer would say over the radio to the roundhouse.

It's so the recordings sound like authentic working trains. Smile

Thanks for the well-wishes. This one is gonna be fun.

Don't let RJ derail this thread, Brad. I know you have all the training you need to do well on this job. And it's creating some great new ties for you, too!

Oh Dave you stoled my line....now I'm going to have to kick you in the caboose. Wink

My brother in law will be really jealous. The man is middle aged and still plays with trains. He even helps run a convention. Rolling Eyes
