After upgrading to a premium membership I wanted to add some demo files to my page. I've noticed that the MP3 files seem to be changed regarding quality when uploaded to the site. Although the files sound fine on my harddisc, they seem to be degraded when streaming from the site.
What specs do you use when uploading files (bitrate, mppro, sampling rate a.s.o.)? Are they kind of "resampled" after the upload?

Hello Thomas,
You are correct, the actual files are reconverted automatically by the system, at this moment the maximum resolution for mp3 is 64kbps Mono.
For best results it is recommended to upload files using these specifics: MP3, 64kbps, Mono, 44.100Hz.
Very soon the quality of the playback system will be upgraded to 96kbps offering a higher playback resolution.

Well, the new playback system will be released with the Voice123 V 2.0, very soon you´ll start receiving information.
Regarding the one year premium subscription contest, we’ll be doing it every month, soon we’ll publish December’s winner. |
