I am preparing to set up a home studio and I want to do it right. I'm starting with a microphone and small mixer to use with my existing computer. I have a SoundBlaster board that is only a year old. I assume that would be sufficient. My question is which microphone should I choose? Then which mixer? Plus any other helpful advise you could provide.
Thank you,

Hi Lawrence,
I'm also creating a home studio. I have not purchased my mic yet but I've been
researching mics since October. From what I've been reading, the Heil PR-40 sounds
really great and most likely the one I'll get.
Here is a review on the Heil PR-40 by Scott Bourne:

Hope this helps.
Regards,
Frank |
