Thanks Jordan,
I know what you mean about the "no no" part. That was actually the hardest part to get to match the back up vocals on the CD. You have got a good ear. When I am off....it's usually because I'm flat....not sharp.

I pretty much did this for fun, since I do have a jingle demo already.

Ah, awesome! I figured you did it for fun since alot of your VO work is jingles Smile.

In my opinion; If anyone is singing off-key, it's better to be flat then sharp. It's alot more obvious someone is off when they are sharp:).

Any no doubt song is a challenge anyway. Gwen is an extremely diverse and talented female vocalist. I think most people would have destroyed this song if they sang it...not the good kind of "destroyed" either Very Happy

Great work Deby! Even if Simon Cowel was to vote on this, he'd send you to Hollywood. Very Happy

This was a stellar performance! I love the harmonies big time! Your unique tone really comes through in the lower register when you go for some of the lower power notes.

As always, a lovely job Deby!

A power Cheers,
Cameron

I wish! Unfortunately, we don't play NO DOUBT. I have to play artists like Keysha Cole, Alicia Keys, Mary J Blige, etc. Could you wing any of those? Wink

I'm still hooked on "NO ONE". There's this rule in radio that goes: As a jock, when you get sick of an "A" record (one that's in heavy rotation), it's just starting to become a hit.

"NO ONE" was the first single on her latest CD and I'm still singing the hook in the studio when it's on the air. It's so catchy!
Thank God, the requests for it are also still hot.

Two of my other fav's by Alicia Keys are, FALLEN and You Don't Know My Name. Clive Davis struck gold when he discovered her.

~Allison~
