Thanks Bettye... very encouraging stories!
The demo is still in the works, btw. I've been SOOOO busy preparing our relocation, a lot of thinks has been put aside, this included. I hope to have it done soon! Of course I'll keep you in the loop. _________________ Regards,

Thank you all for your kind comments. I need stroking too and you do it. THANKS. Yes, I've always been "the show must go on" and I've always been "keep your chin up cause if you step on it, you'll have a sore chin...ha ha). In this business over thirty-five years now, I've had just about everything happen from great to horrid. Two agents stole my money...and money owed my teen son who also did voiceovers (I have two sons), I've had auditions that were horrid, ones that worked and I got major jobs, I've gone thru age transitions from young girl to young mother to now, grandmother, but the only thing about voiceovers is that "voice knows no age." Recently, I voiced a 12 year old boy and I've voiced parts in many videogames etc. I keep re=inventing myself. You need to re-invent yourself too. In show business that happens all the time. An actor who did high drama starts doing comedy. An actor who was only an actor starts singing or dancing. Many voice talents become pro audio engineers and producers. I did that about six years ago after working as Creative Director for several production houses I decided to open my own production studio. Also, because people started asking me to teach them, I began coaching voiceover and acting in the early-1990s. Prior to that time, I was a singing coach. I also was a professional singer prior to getting into voiceovers. It's a journey...wow. What fun. All the best to you all and I love hearing from you always. Sincerely, Bettye Zoller _________________ Bettye Zoller: CLIOS, ADDYS, GOLDEN RADIOS, AUDIES, Member Voice and Speech Trainers Assoc., AFTRA SAG, 34 years a pro. |
