I'm still tinkering with my commercial demo too and need some feedback.
I need fresh ears. Mine are getting tired.

Todd,
Who am I to critique? I fell in love with the segment in the middle that had Al Green plaing on the radio in the backround.
Your demo definately shows a wide range of your talent. Your voice is rich, deep, and very convincing. But ya really sold me on the Al Green part. IMO.

I very much enjoyed it, Todd.
Aside from your fine mahogany voice and solid delivery, I don't know why. I mean, it doesn't exactly follow the blueprint.
You have, what, only four clips there? And you went a cappela for a while. And there's no real Seize 'EM stuff.
But who says a demo has to be just this...or just that? The quintessential, unbeatable, irresistable demo hasn't been done yet.
But I liked this. It was eminently listenable.
Vaunt On!

I can live with "eminently listenable". There are 5 clips and I was trying to keep it around one minute. It clocks in at 1:07.
Thanks for the feedback, Robert.

| Put me down for "eminently listenable" as well. I would definitely think about putting something in that GRABS the seeker. But I have to say that the quality of your voice, especially in that Al Green-backed segment is really something special. Sennheiser 416 on that one, perhaps?

Thanks!
I use an EV RE20 mic.
I have a few "grab ya" spots, but I'm not in love with any of them. I guess I'll go back to the drawing board tomorrow and maybe re-record one of them.
I appreciate the feedback and compliment very much. This is helping me.

You watched Yokel? Cool.
That was a fun and decent paying gig, while it lasted. Turner South sold to Fox and they ditched everything. But, the show may pop up somewhere else in the near future. ssshhh.
