Hey Steve, I liked this demo. It showed your voice, gave us some basic killer deliveries, and some range. It's a solid demo.

First thing get rid of the slate, or shorten it to a female voice simply saying your name. If you listen to any big agency house reels or big-time imaging guys' demos, that's what they have. It's just your slate (while very well done!) is like 4.5 seconds long. Considering you have 3 seconds to grab the average listener's attention, I'd drop it.

That's the only major contention I have, the rest is just being nitpicky:

The first piece kind of faltered when you go to the final "back". It was just a tad overdone. Like you were trying too hard. Also, the first two pieces sound very similar.

I would suggest cutting the first piece off after the "we are back" (before you get to the "We. Are. Baaack"), and right into "new music". Getting rid of the echo that precedes that in the second piece. It would just be snappier.

The only other thing I would is move the public service announcement up to like 3rd place. It shows a great read you can do, and should be featured sooner. But that said, you should take out the second time you say "this public service announcement" before you say "brough to you by the Smashing Pumpkins". Because we hear the two of the phrase "public service announcerment" too close together. So take out the second time you say it and Just end it with "brought to you by". That would tighten it up quite a bit and give the image of more productive forward motion.

I always enjoy your stuff Steve, and I like this demo quite a bit!
