Hello, and Happy New Year, I am new to this forum and I'm starting this new year off by finding other venues to learn and network from in my continuing effort to make money in this glorious business of voice over. I frequent other forums and like to contribute whatever I can to help others, I was particularly interested in the voiceoverpedia.org Wiki link I found on another forum that directed me to here. I look forward to learning something from everyone and Thanks for having me.

Good to see you here Scott. I've seen you at Julie's forum a lot. This forum has been around a bit longer, a little over a year.
We're a little more "nuts and bolts" here.
Our "LEADS AND READS" that was the inspiration for the like named thread over there gets a bit more action here, though it's been a tad slow lately.
Lot of history to browse through on this forum.

Welcome aboard. I think you'll find that about 80-90% of the regulars on Julie's forum (including Julie) also spend some time here, so you are bound to see several familiar faces.

Hey Scott,
I'm doing the same this year, trying to learn and maybe try and make some money in the business. I lost my job in radio in October when our station was sold so I thought maybe this might bring some income but after looking around here on voice123 I'm not so sure since the competition is so great! I wish you luck and hope you prosper in 2008!

I'm late to welcome you, Scott, because in my part of Canada (Quebec: Canada's Smoking Section), the holidays are considered holiweeks.
