Thanks for your input, Lance. Here is the reworked version (before your most recent comments). Let me know what you think I still might do to improve, in addition to adding the NBA spot back in.
Thanks,
Andrew

Getting better, Andrew! Miles better without the fades! Smile

The Riddick and Sith pieces are similar in tone, so I'm not sure about going Riddick-Durango-Sith right off the bat.

My order pick: ER/Durango/Games Room/Riddick/NBA/Mass 53rd/Sith

And the final piece somehow feels like its leaving us hanging - perhaps because it doesn't have a bed to it. It's wortwhile including to show your narration work...but I still like the NBA piece better, especially for a closing piece.

The Durango piece feels long even though it's good. You could stand to cut it at "they saw there".

I LOOOOOOOOOOOVE the Games Room Furniture bit. Now that's cool!

Well, here is the final demo. I want to thank all of you for your comments. I'm glad I fought my reluctance to post it up for criticism. I feel I have a better demo, as a result. Happy New Year to you all. I hope it is a healthy and prosperous one for us all.
Andrew
Very Happy

Excellent Andrew!

The only nit I'd pick is the fade at the end. You might be able to pull off a hard cut at "Sith" but I know that might not work.

It's amazing what demo order and editing can do. This just feels so much tighter and flows more...and I don't notice any mouth issues at all, I'm just going along for the ride with this demo and enjoying it.

Best of luck to you in 2008...and beyond! Smile

I feel like I just learned a lot; now it's time to get crackin' on my own wares.

Really good demo! I've been following the progress.

I agree you need to lose the fade at the end. As a rule fading doesn't work. When the demo fades the listener fades.

I suggest you do more demos to reflect the genres: narration, promo, trailer, etc.

Thanks, again, Lance. I will figure out a way to eliminate the fade at the end. Hey, Bob. I hear what your saying about adding more genres of demos, but I did that about 2 months ago, adding specific demos for Promos, Commercials, Movie Trailers, and Radio/TV Imaging, but I immediately got less direct invitations than before I added them. Maybe it's just that the others need the same TLC I have given this General demo.
Later,
Andrew

Well, having not heard the other demos I can't comment on them. And I also don't know your market, so I can't comment on what is marketable in your neck of the woods.

In LA, the promo buyers want to think all you do is promo. Same goes for the narration buyers. Each buyer doesn't want to think you do all things VO, just theirs. So for marketing your career it's best to have a demo that reflects each genre of VO you do.

And you do it well!
