Merry X-mas to all the gentiles out there.

Open your presents quickly and get back to work. Just because it is Christmas doesn't mean you can just spend time with your families!

They probably don't even remember what you look like anyway.

Humbug! That's right, humbug! Yell

Alright fine, pass the egg nog.

Hey Erik -- Did last week's thread disappear? (Could you have deleted it when you meant to just close it? If so, I hope there's a way to bring it back.)

Yeah Lee, I think that might have been my mistake. Working on bringing it back but I think the tech guys may be on holiday.

I have been waiting to get called on it.

I truly am sorry to all. Hopefully I can get it back.

It wont happen again. Embarassed

Sony MDR-7506. Man, I sound better than I am. That's the problem with really good headphones, you get a false sense of security.

Another Christmas read. Andrews Food Systems...

Incredible cans, Colin. That's what I use. My second set in about 25 years. You should get at least 2 decades of use out of them. Enjoy!

ADDED: Your post below reminded me that my current 7506 did indeed replace an ancient pair of MDR-V6, as well. Both are incredible headsets. Can't beat 'em for the money and they have a wonderfully flat and natural sound, plus are incredibly comfortable.

I had a pair of MDR-V6 that were 15 or so years old. I have a reason to use them elsewhere so I wanted the replacment model for my "studio." They are essentially the same phones. They look the same. But... the sound seems to be a tad better with this updated model number.

A seeker from Thailand, a country that is 80% Buddhist.

Scott... you can buy replacement pads for either model. (Same pads.) I fixed up my old V6's recently but I need a second pair of phones now for something coming up in the new year.

I bought the pads at B&H out of New York.

REALLY NEAT to have these brand new ones!

Lee, I now automatically delete any lead that has the word Pattaya in it. I'm serious. I've heard too many detrimental comments regarding payment problems with them.

You are apparently not the only one. As far as I can tell these leads were posted by the seeker some time on the 24th. SmartCast got around to sending them to me (and, I assume, to Colin and others as well) some time on the 25th. I went out and did some work this morning and got back home at 3 PM, checked those leads, and none of the three they sent to me had fulfilled its quota of 50 auditions.

I generally pass on all the Pattaya leads too, if for no other reason than most of them contain names I can't pronounce. I also doubted whether these guys were good for the money but I thought I read a post from someone who had done a job for them and gotten paid. Perhaps I was mistaken.
