I suspect that most all VO folks like to hear various accents and are keen listeners. I like all the EU English accents but am partial to German.
Euro English is a term I have heard lately. On my first trip to Germany I heard English being spoken by German folks and could distinguish a US/Canadian accent and a British accent. On asking about this I was told that it depended on who, what or where that person learning English. My sister-in-law was the person I asked. She subsequently has for some years been teaching English to German speakers. She is from North Carolina, and I suspect those folks might have a bit of Carolina twang. Actually we have about 5 distinct dialect regions in NC.
It may come to pass that Euro English may become a term used to describe the language spoken by any person from the EU member counters, save the UK. _________________ Esse quam videri "To be rather than to seem"
