Hello, this is my first post, I've been in radio since 1984, I'm about to upgrade my studio from AT 3035, a PC , Soundblaster Audigy, Cool Edit - to - TLM 103, MBox 2 Pro, Avalon VP 737 SP, Pro Tools, and an acustic treated room, which are more professional gear. I pretend to learn a lot from this forum and at the same time to share my experiences with you.
My first question is how to speed up my recordings keeping them natural, without distortion. Software or hardware?
I've heard about Eventide Harmonizers but they cost too much.
What else can give me similar results?.
Thanks in advance for you help.

Nagi

You can download a copy of Audacity from sourceforge.net and it will have the pitch change tools you are looking for. It's a lot cheaper than an Eventide harmonizer. In fact, it's free.

Thanks Lee, It really surprised me, I tried it and it works much better than Cool Edit's Time stretch and even better than Wave's Pitch shifter and a "lot cheaper" as you said.
Thanks again Very Happy .
