Well, after receiving a lot of feedback on whether to have actual kids try out for V123 jobs, I received a re-invitation for a job this morning that was looking for kids... so I had two of mine try it out. What do you think?

Dave, cute, CUTE, CUTE!!!! Personally, I liked the sound of the kids' voices. They both sounded like they were reading, of course, as kids are wont to do, but the first kid sounded quite a bit more natural. There was a very noticeable hum that came in behind kid 2. What was that?

I just submitted this over on voices-dot-com. It's a reading for Edgar Allen Poe's "Cask of Amontillado". I DEVOURED Poe as a kid and this would be a 'dream gig' for me.

You know, Colin, I actually typed the word at first as 'wont' but was afraid people might think I meant won't, so I just changed it to want, not thinking anyone would even notice.

But you're exactly right!
Wink

P.S. Just changed it.

I just couldn't resist correcting the grammar cop just one time.

I happened to look that word up just the other day.

Man, you guys get all the great shots! I'd KILL to do Poe!

After teaching English lit for many years, I have an in depth knowledge of dear old tormented Poe. Great job, Thom, just the right tone with the edge of cold, creepy, calculating insanity needed for that tale.

I really didn't mean it that way. I meant... I am not a fan of literature and Thom is obviously cultured so it took nerve for me to post a cheap attempt after his award winning post above. I had to try to challenge myself. What else to do... throw my hands up and surrender?

I know you really didn't mean it that way, but your voice was very LOW in that read. The complete opposite of Michael Jackson. Laughing
