I asked a question and said "to Autumn...almost right...meant to say "to September. What a great name. And also, meant to add that my website has tracking to tell me on which days I got most hits and what time and which items in store sold best and when.

You mean me, Bettye? Smile Honestly, I have no idea if it has a name. It's built into my hosting site. When I go to my control panel, I can see it when I veiw my other stats. Zoom Hosting offers it, if that helps!

If you'ld like to know more about your website's visitors, check out "Google Analytics". It gives you a heck of information like

- where did your visitors come from (not only state, but also city)
- what OS do they use
- what monitor size
- are they first time visitors or did they come back
- who is refferring to your site
- what keywords were searched for
- which search enginge passes your visitors on
- and and and...

And best of all: it's free!

Thomas

Interesting stuff

September 23rd was when SaVoa was launched and we had a short month. The total request made was just under 14,000. It has grown steadily and now our rank at www.Alexa.com is 1,577.381 not bad for a start up. 4,786,894 is Septembers rank, and 5,829,422 is the rank Bettyes first website has today. Each is subject to change daily.

Its not about hits, our ranking, it’s about returns. When your name is used in a search it’s the number of returns that means the most.

The reason Savoa is rank so high is the awesome traffic the site is getting, well over 30,000 per month.

Do the search on Goggle and see that Bettye is everywhere. Like she said or implied time/duration on the web is important. Making links is important and networking is the key.

A very interesting thread for sure.
