Wow - thanks!
Embarassed

That was an unedited take - I didn't even take down the breaths.
Surprised myself...

WOW Colin,

I really like your Home On The Range! The mx you used is very "Martha Stewarty".

Indeed, I think he was actually CHANNELING the diva herself (kind of a James Earl Jones/Martha Stewart thing...)
And Alli - I think the proper term is Martha Stewart-ISH

ahem...

Thanks for that correction Karen. "ISH" is the appropriate adjective.
Unfortunately, we use "ISH" in radio as a substitute for that other 4-letter "S" word the FCC won't let us say. Cool

Great reads Karen and Colin!

Hey Karen, did you see the "Shrek the Halls" Christmas special?
My wife and I love the cat and the scene with him and the hat tassle ball was hilarious.
Had to rewind a couple of times.

Heads up on the bunch of leads coming in for Pattaya Radio.
Don't forget to watermark or read partial/modified script.
And get your payment up front.

I was going to ask what people thought about them. Since I'll be out most of the day, I just deleted them.
Probably would have done the same even if I had the time.

Gotta love this piece of well written copy from a lead I got

Enjoy our special menu or a good steak of imported, well hung beef - cooked by a real chef.

I haven't really posted much this week, but just submitted this one and sort of like it. They wanted a straightforward narration, not overly dramatic.

I figured that just the way I would undoubtedly mispronounce all the Thai proper names (including Pattaya) should be almost like watermarking. But then when I saw how many of these leads were coming from over there I figured it could just be the local radio station trying to get its entire load of production voiced on the cheap (i.e. free), so I stopped after just sending in the one John mentioned (the one with the beef cooked by the well hung chef. wait; that's not right Laughing )

Here's a TOS lead selling a book. I "just read" this. Something I am trying to "just do" lately as that seems to get the best response.
