These are the kind you LOVE, too. The client happened to be right here in Atlanta, interestingly. He sent the script late last night, we chatted on the phone this morning to cover any questions about it, I recorded it, uploaded it, he told me to invoice him and asked my preferred method of payment. Man, I love clients like this.

Good question, Jacob. Since I just finished the job today I probably ought to give him a day or two, eh?
Seriously, I've NEVER ever been stiffed by a voice client. I had more than one website client screw me over when I was still a web designer, but I've NEVER had a v/o client not pay. Some take a bit longer than others, but that's just part of the business. My biggest and best client, from whom I get close to half of my income, pays in less than a week after being invoiced.
