Been a busy morning...16 open auds on TOS. (yeah I only do those, can't afford V123 yet)

Here's my Microsoft one from TOS.

p.s. Anyone else have their demos play at half speed using the TOS embedded player? I checked the actual link to the MP3 on the "hear the demo" link and it was fine...just sounded ssslllooowww when using their player.

Lee loved that snowman, you have a natural voice for many things, but that is at the top.

Sid, geez...like Colin said, I know I've heard you other than on this forum. Great job!

Thought I would play with the Jack Daniels one. Maybe I ought to drink one instead?

I think you need to convert to their specs -- 44.1k sample rate.

OK, everyone scream "Colin!" like Kirk screams "Kaaaahhhhnnnn!!" in Star Trek II The Wrath of Kahn.

Man Colin, you NAILED that Jack Daniels spot.
Excellent, excellent.

However, it (and other auditions I've listened to on the READS/LEADS category)...raise a question for an old newbie like me...does giving the client a mixed audition like yours help, or hurt you?

The natural follow up is "Where do you get the effects tracks like the ambient bar sounds you used?
I know there are freebie sites to get wav sound effects and the like, but did you buy a production library? And if so, I take it it's "paid off"?

For shirts and giggles, here were my reads for the JD spot, the Playboy Jazz spot..and The Signal spot...critique away ladies and gents!

Ahhh, that must be it. Thanks Melba, I missed the fact that I saved that one in 48000 Shocked
