Question:

Sometimes I get an invitation from a voice seeker, and I am not able to get to my recording studio for 24 hours. I want to contact them, to let them know that I recieved the invitation and will be recording a custom demo for them soon.
However, once you respond to them the first time, you can't send anything else.

Is there some way around this?

Thanks,

Debbie Irwin

If you are getting a private invitation, then you can contact the voice seeker in two ways. Through the email that comes to you and through the website. Use the email link to explain your situation and then you can still use the website link to do the audition.

If you are getting a group SmartCast lead, then you are correct, you can only contact them once, by design.

I however, have asked that there be some sort of email link in order to ask questions if an interesting lead is missing a key piece of information. Not sure if that will ever happen, but I did suggest it. With the way the opportunities to audition are snapped up, the time it takes to send and get a reply would usually preclude an audition anyway.

Regards,
