Greetings to all-
I read about voice coaching on these forums. As a new person to voice123, I was interested.
I contacted Phyllis Day after reading all of the positive comments from those of you who have more experience than I. We had our first chat this morning and I agree- agree- agree. She did put her finger right on the qualities in my voice that need to improve. Funny thing is I could actually feel those areas in my throat.
I do plan to work with Phyllis D and I look forward to it very much.
I am so glad that there is this type of forum to tap into.

I think it's really great that Phyllis offered to do that.
I'm going to send my MP3 over to her very soon.

I just finished up my second session with Phyllis and I know I have work still to be done. But what I have noticed is that I am beginning to see what Phyllis sees when she "hears" a voice.
It is amazing.
Phyllis has been opening my mind to my natural sound. It is very hard to explain unless you have had a session with her. I know that folks who have already worked with Phyllis know exactly what I mean.
Phyllis is slowing peeling away the years of "radio announcing" layers to let the "real" voice speak with the listener. Thank you so much Phyllis, it is an exciting time in my life.

Salutations everyone. I must share this with you all. I just got off the phone with my second session with Phyllis Day. It was an hour well spent. Her knowledge and experience is evident in the way she critiqued and explained the areas I need to work on and the positive reinforcement of the areas that I executed correctly.

I would recommend anyone - new or experienced - to work with Phyllis. I have spent alot of time researching my equipment and studio setup, but the most important part of my setup is including working with Phyllis for my voice and technique....after all, the voice is what it's all about.....

Till later all.......
