Chris, It looks really good. Question, instead of the ceiling hooks, why don't you just build a 3rd frame to stand up behind you? Then you could set it up anywhere you like.

You have an interesting combination of real cheap and real expensive. I know that Reflexion thingy is NOT CHEAP. So how is this all working out for you so far?

Joe, I'd have to say that when I'm in the "crux" of the thing, the closeness (or "lack of room") sounds really good. Good non-diffused present sound. Thing is, that with the Reflexion Filter and the tightness of the angle, it's kinda hard to get my music stand in there so I can properly see the copy, not to mention that it gets a little hot in there...HOWEVER, all things being equal, it is a good if not ideal, tho inexpensive, way to the heart of the problem.

I may well try to figger out a "lean-to" that I can put behind and over me, as you stated, to reduce upward travel onto the ceiling; the hooks I had already put in thinking I'd box myself in with blankets - bad idea...I'm really not good at visualizing things that need to be built, which is why once I saw the post of this piece, I said Hey I can build that!!!!!

It's called making do I guess. Would I like a Whisperroom? Of course. Can I afford one now? uhDuh.....So we make do. Smile

More importantly, a question for Chris: Does the dog have to be that damn ugly?

And her coat doesn't look very "sound absorbing".

Truly sorry if I offended Chris or anyone with the remark about his dog. I was, of course, not serious and was only going for a laugh. It appears no one laughed and I may look rather foolish now as I haven't seen any responses, good or bad. So Chris, if you're reading this, I apolgize to you and all others offended.

Here is my groove tube mic. I am normally in headphones, but I was practicing for a magical fairy read on an animation project. Roger laughed when he saw the over the top glitter make-up and decided to get the camera out.
