I am one of the new kids on the block of the female persuasion my name is Joey. A 26 year radio vet that is FINALLY doing what I should have started long ago. I purchased "some" home equipment and have had a handful of jobs so far. This all started just about 2 months ago. But I feel for as many years as I spent on the air, I am a bit lost when it comes to getting everything going in the right direction for my voice business to take off. I signed up on 123 last night late and I am still putting together demo's but posted a sample to get the ball rolling. I have recieved two auditions to submit and am wondering how to go about getting them to pay. I do have a paypal account. I read one story tonight about a girl having problems getting paid and someone suggested 50% up front the rest when product is delivered. With the audition request that I received it states mp3. But I don't know where I send the mp3?? Please any help much appreciated!! Thank You!!! Also constructive critisism on my demo would be good too. Thank You!!

Welcome to Wonderland, Joey.
I didn't have the chance to hear the audio yet, but I did want to jump in here and suggest you not put in an offer for that villa in Spain just yet.
You see, we do not get paid for the auditions.
It's unfair; I know. After all, waiters are paid whether they're actually serving a meal or not. And teachers are paid through the summer. And sex workers have the meter running for just lying around. And...
You get the idea.
(And the MP3 is uploaded to your submission. You may want to read the V123 instructions before opening the can.)
