It's all too funny! My wife and I laughed so hard at September's contribution. Holy, crap that was funny...oops! I said crap.

Here are a few of mine:

-I once played the role of a butler in a lumber and hardware commercial...I spoke in a british accent and served faux drinks. Corny? Yep!

-I played the role of a knife wielding psychotic killer in a TV promojavascript:emoticon('Shocked')...the lady in the shower chewed me a new one. It was strange. The lady would eventually run as VP for the Green Party. I still have the 3/4" tapes somewhere.

-In the early 90's, I voiced promos for the arrival of Hee Haw's Grandpa Jones as parade grand marshall and subsequent concert at the local auditorium...I actually got a chance to emcee the concert and sing "Where oh where are you tonight? Why did you leave me here all alone? I searched the world over and I thought I found true love, you met another and (bltttttt) you were gone. Rest in peace Grandpa.

-I did some VO work for an upcoming WWF event, then served as ring announcer...it was bizarre.

I just now watched the video September posted...I thought it would be you (September) singing in a store.

I recognize this video...(sigh) know it all too well. It was a hand-me-down gift. I think my son loved it so much because my initial viewing was rife with raucous laughter. The little flute man on the edge of the tub was always a bit disturbing for me, however. And the clown later in the video is just painful to watch.

Of course, after he was trained, it was no longer funny...it was stoooo-pid, Ma!

Thanks for the stroll down memory lanel, September!

Oh yeah, forgot this one - I portrayed "Clutterman" for the Cleveland Plain Dealer classifieds...they had a guy out of Pittsburgh who did the superhero voice but wouldn't put on the dumb suit...So get the weird local guy! I never did do a radio spot but I did appear live on one of the morning shows in town, then spent half a day at that station's country music event walking around meeting & greeting, trying to ignore everyone snickering at me...

Funniest moment: a little girl passing me by made reference to something SpongeBob, which led me to say "I CAN'T HEEEAR YOU" and she immediately stopped, turned to me and responded with "AYE AYE CAPTAIN!", and I gave it the ol' "OHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH" as I turned and moved on. Horrifying day but I made union scale, so all in all not bad.

But never again.
